It is so important to choose a maternity photographer whose style appeals to you and you are comfortable with. I'm a woman who has had a baby. I understand your pregnancy body can take some getting used to and it's my mission to make every expectant mama feel amazing about their bump and their photographs. Our bump photos are classic, elegant and timeless. We can even take a casting of your bump during your maternity photography session and photograph your newborn in it when they arrive. The cast is then yours to keep and show your growing child how they fit in there before they were born. Bump sessions are best scheduled between 32-38 weeks, bearing in mind that every lady is different. You're welcome to discuss with us how you're feeling in the weeks leading up to your session and if we need to move it forward or back a little we will do our best. Sessions can take place at our Wirral studio or a location to be discussed.
Our clients travel from throughout Merseyside and Cheshire and further afield. The studio is located just a few minutes off the M53 so is easily reached from across the North West and North Wales.

Maternity SessionsWhen should I book?
32-38 weeks is the ideal time for bump photos to be taken, though this can vary and the real answer is 'when you are feeling your best'! Some ladies love their bump to be huge on their maternity photographs and others feel more confident earlier on in their pregnancy. Talk with us about it and we can help you choose a great time to be photographed. How long does the session take?
Up to an hour if you're having photographs only, up to two hours if you are adding a bump casting. How to prepare? What to bring?
Have a look through our maternity album for outfit inspiration. Plain black and plain white or pale colours look gorgeous. Figure hugging dresses work beautifully to show off your bump, as does pretty lingerie or even just a vest and underwear. Even better, bare it all and let your beautiful bump be the focus – you'll have a female photographer who's been in your position before, so we hope you're feel comfortable. We'll discuss your ideas with you in detail before the day of the session too.
If we've arranged to make a casting of your bump then you'll need to bring some old underwear to wear – the plaster is similar to plaster of paris and leaves a chalky residue on your skin, we'll clean you up as best we can before you leave but wouldn't want to ruin your best bra! What happens next?
Around a week after your session we'll invite you back to see your images on screen at the studio! If you just can't wait, we also offer a social media 'Sneak Peek' on our Facebook or Instagram page – this is pre-arranged, your images are never shared without your permission.
Then the tricky part! We can work with you to design Wall Art collections, albums or anything else you'd like. It's helpful if you can bring photographs (mobile snaps are fine) and measurements of your home to your ordering session.
After this – we hope to be welcoming you to the studio with your precious new arrival. If you'd like to recreate any portraits from your bump session with your babe in arms, remember to bring along the same clothes and style your hair in a similar way.
